LEAD PASTOR

REV. PAUL M. CHUNG

Pastor Paul Chung is the Lead Pastor of Stony Brook Antioch Church. It was in his early college years when he attended Stony Brook University that God spoke through a single Bible verse in Habakkuk that began his journey into ministry: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Working as a bi-vocational pastor in ministry and as a dentist for 17 years, Pastor Paul eventually went into full-time ministry and planted New Heart Mission Church in 2009 (now located in Hicksville).

However, with a God-given heart & desire to plant a church in the Stony Brook region for over two decades, the Lord has graciously opened the doors for Stony Brook Antioch Church to be planted in early 2024. Today, among many things, Pastor Paul is gospel-coaching pastors in the United States, as well as actively involved in missions work in Uganda, Africa. Ministering to pastors all across East-Africa, Pastor Paul’s desire is to see ministers who preach the gospel and boast only in the cross of Christ. Pastor Paul has received his Master of Divinity (M.Div) and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) from Biblical Theological Seminary. Pastor Paul is married to his wife Ellen, and is blessed with three adult-children: Timothy, Daniel, and Elizabeth.

DR. SOHEE PARK
Sohee is the director for Stony Brook Antioch Church. Sohee graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and is currently working as a lecturer at a university in Connecticut teaching Computer Science. It was in her early career, when she attended services at a church in Connecticut, that God spoke through Luke 11:11-13 and she was born again and began her journey to follow Jesus. Sohee desires to raise up the next generations who fear God and follow Jesus Christ. She is happily married to her husband, Seyong, and has two children: John & Catherine.
